Baby Double Strollers

Baby double strollers allow you to take twins or young children of different ages for a ride. There are two types available: the tandem and the side by side. In the tandem, one child sits behind the other. The tandem is usually easier to handle.

The double strollers offer the same features as the standard models for one child.

Features to look for:

• A good model will have a safety harness similar to a baby car seat.
• It should be easy to fold or open with one hand.
• There are several wheel sizes available. The larger wheels make it easier to handle curbs. Most models have double wheels in the front that swivel to make steering easier.
• A reclining seat offers support and comfort.
• A basket underneath can hold a diaper bag and other baby items.
• A canopy to protect the children from the sun is desirable.
• Brakes are convenient when the stroller is parked.
