Baby Jumpers

It is important that they are installed properly. The baby should be able to sit before you use a one, which is usually, when the baby is about 5-7 months old. They can be used until the baby is about 12 months old. Price range is about $30-70.

• Always follow the manufacturer's instructions.
• Use a sturdy door frame for support.
• Before every use, make sure that the clamps and straps are secure.
• Do not use the jumper as a swing.

Some features to consider:

• A padded seat, which can be removed and washed.
• Bumpers to help protect the door frame.
• A play tray around the seat and attached toys to entertain the baby.

2. Jumpers in a sturdy steel frame
The seat is supported with springs, which are covered to help keep the baby safe while jumping. A round toy tray with sounds and lights keeps the baby entertained.

Look for models that allow you to adjust the height easily. A good model is the Fisher Price Deluxe Jumper, which costs about $70.
