3. Don't use a name that is presently very popular. There may be too many children with the same name  in your area.
4. The child should be happy with the name, when the child is older.
5. Don't use a name that is difficult to spell.
6. The name should go with the last name. If the last name is long, it might be better  to use a shorter first name.
7. If you want to consider family background, you could use that name as the middle name.
8. Keep the name you selected secret, otherwise, relatives and friends will constantly  give their opinions.
