Baby Shower Games

Baby shower games can be the fun part of the planning and holding a shower. You don't need to use games, however, they are lots of fun and they keep everybody entertained. You could give a small gift to the winner.

1. Guess the mother's waist
This is a popular game. The objective for the guests is to estimate the tummy of the mom to be. Each guest cuts a piece of string from a spool, that she thinks will fit around the mother to be's waist. The mother to be then wraps each string around her tummy to find the string that fits best. You could also use about a 7 foot ribbon and have each guest mark the estimated waistline of the mom to be.

2. Baby food
Buy 6-8 different baby food jars and put a number on the lid. Remove the jar label and mark the number from the lid on the label. Pass the jars around with a spoon. Each guest should write down on a piece of paper the number of the jar and what she believes the content of the jar is.

3. Baby photo
Ask each guest to bring a baby picture of themselves. As the guests arrive, mark in pencil a number on the back of the photo. Keep a list by number and the name of the guest. Pass a piece of paper around, so each guest can write down the name and the matching photo number.
