Baby Shower Thank You Note

A baby shower thank you note conveys an appreciation for a special event or for a gift. But quite often people think that the note has to be formal and don't mail it out. A note doesn't have to be perfect.

Here are some simple rules to follow:

• Mail your note as quickly as possible after the baby shower.
• Always mention the gift, such as "Thank you for the beautiful baby blanket".
• The stationary can be informal, but it is good to put a personal tone in the note. If you have problems putting together the right words, buy some inexpensive cards.
• The note or card should be addressed to the person who signed the gift card.

I love the beautiful layettes that you gave me at the shower. The baby is going to look adorable in them. Maybe I can see you again before the baby arrives.
