Quality Foam and Innerspring
Colgate Crib Mattresses


The Colgate company was started in 1955 to produce high quality Colgate crib mattresses. It makes several models of foam and innerspring mattresses.

Scientific advances in the manufacturing of foam have improved the quality of foam substantially. Today, a quality foam mattress is as good as a quality innerspring model.

A wide range of foam models is available:
1. Visco Classica is the best Colgate foam model. It costs about $160-180. It combines Classica I foam on the more firm side with a more comfortable memory foam on the other side. It has a liquid proof cover.

2. The Classica III Dual Zone model has an extra firm side for infants and a more comfortable side for toddlers. Price is about $130-150.

3. The Classica I model is a #1 rated crib mattress by a leading consumer magazine. Price is about $100-120.

Colgate offers several innerspring mattresses. The 2 in 1 model costs about $170-190. It is a very popular mattress that has an extra firm side for infants and less firm side for toddlers. This mattress is ideal for cribs that convert to toddler beds.
