Comfortable and safe
convertible Car Seats

Convertible car seats are bigger than infant seats. They can be used as rear facing infant seats or as front facing toddler seats.

They are used as rear facing seats for babies, who weigh up to 30 pounds and as front facing seats for babies, who weigh 20-40 pounds. When changing from a rear facing to a front facing seat, be sure to adjust the harness system.

The seats should have a harness to keep the children secure. It is more convenient to have front adjusting harness straps. They make it much easier to get the children securely strapped in.

Several government regulations have been established over the last few years to assure that the seats are properly installed. Most new child car seats come with a strap to hold the seats tight to the car seat.

Price ranges from about $80-230.
