Odorless and easy
to use Diaper Pail

A diaper pail, also called a diaper disposal system, is a container to hold dirty diapers. The type of pail that would be best, depends on the type of diapers used. There are different pails available for cloth and disposable diapers.

The most common cloth diaper pail is a sturdy plastic containerthat soaks cloth diapers before they get laundered. It not onlyneeds to be sturdy, but should also have a comfortable handle and a spout to pour out water.

The standard pail for disposable diapers is also made of plastic. The inside of the pail is fitted with a plastic bag that keeps odors contained.

The most common pails for disposable diapers are:

The Diaper Genie by Playtex costs about $25-35. This is probably the most widely used system. It is easy to use and provides excellent odor protection.

The Neat Diaper Disposal System by Safety 1st costs about $25. This pail has an easy pull handle and has a child proof design. It has a special system that prevents odors from escaping.

The Diaper Dekor by Regal Lager costs about $25-40. This pail has good odor control and is a hands free system. After diaper use, it can be used as a waste basket.

In general, the following features should be considered:

  • A child resistant lid that makes the lid difficult to open by the child.
  • The pail should hold between 25 and 45 diapers.
  • Comfortable handles that make carrying easy.
  • Easy to use with one hand.
