Nutritious
Gerber Baby Cereal

Gerber baby cereal provides healthy nutrition for infants and toddlers. The Gerber company suggests the following steps to start using cereal:
1. Start with one tablespoon of single grain cereal mixed with about 5 tablespoons of breast milk or formula.
2. Slowly work up to a few tablespoons.
3. After your baby is used to eating single grain cereal, try mixed grain cereal.
4. Once your baby tolerates mixed cereals, try oatmeal and banana cereal.

Gerber single grain or oatmeal cereal costs about $3.10-3.30 for an 8 ounce container. A case of twelve 8 ounce boxes costs about $21-33. This is a total of 96 ounces. The cereal is completely cooked. Just add liquid (breast milk, formula, juice or water). For babies over one year of age, you can also use whole milk.

Gerber cereal, rice & mixed fruit costs about $14-20 for a container of six 8 ounce boxes. This is a total of 48 ounces. It is ideal for babies during the first year.
