A Kid Bike Helmet for Safety
It is recommended that a child wears a kid bike helmet when riding a bike or is in a child bike seat. A helmet can reduce injuries when the child is involved in an accident.
Helmets are lightweight and comfortable. Look for a CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission) or Snell sticker inside the helmet. A CPSC
sticker means that the helmet meets the Consumer Product Safety Commission standards. A Snell sticker means that it
is approved by the Snell Foundation that test helmets for safety.
A helmet should fit correctly and comfortably. It should not be too big or too small. It should have strong straps that fasten under the chin. Price is about $10-25.
