Natural Baby Products
might be better for the Baby

Natural baby products are an alternative to the commercial baby products that have chemicals added during processing. The longterm effects of added ingredients are sometimes not known.

Commercial brands of baby care products contain preservatives to increase the shelf life. Organic baby products are free of preservatives or contain small amounts of gentle preservatives.

The term natural can be misleading. Some products are called natural when only a small amount of the product is natural. Always read the list of ingredients to determine if the product is really natural.

Organic products are produced based on a system that does not use pesticides and fertilizers. Organic foods are processed without the artificial ingredients and preservatives.

Products that are labeled "Certified Organic" are produced according to strict standards. Organic foods are offered in a large variety of products, including pasta, frozen juices, milk, cereals, meat, bread, beer, wine and other products.

There is no evidence that organic food is better or more nutritious, but they provide a safer environment.

Sales of natural products and organic food products increased in the last few years and sales are expected to continue to grow.
