A Philips Baby Monitor
provides a static free Connection

The Philips baby monitor is manufactured by Philips, which is one of the largest electronic companies in the world. The company was started in 1891 in the Netherlands. Philips brands include Avent, Norelco, Sonicare and Senseo.

Philips digital baby monitors provide a clear sound. The adjustable sound sensitivity allows you to fine tune the volume, so you can hear your baby clearly. The DECT technology guarantees zero interference from any other device, such as cordless phones.

Visible and audio indicators show continuous connection between the baby and parent unit. Lights indicate if the baby makes a noise, even with the volume off.

The Philips Avent SCD 589 Baby Monitor costs about $165-200. The digital technology delivers a clear connection without interference. The Dect technology automatically selects an unused channel. If another user starts using the same channel, it switches to another channel without interruption. A clear connection is chosen from over 60 channels.

Other features include:
1. The parent unit is small and rechargeable.
2. You can monitor the baby's room temperature and activate soothing music from the parent unit.
3. The receiver provides about 8 hours of cordless monitoring with a range of up to 900 feet.
4. The belt clip and neck cord provide hands free convenience.
5. Sound lights show the baby's activity.
6. Low power indicator alerts you when to recharge the batteries.
7. Included is a charging base for the parent unit, an AC/DC adapter and rechargeable batteries.

The model SCD520/00 costs about $110-150. It has a temperature sensor that monitors the baby's room for optimal comfort. The temperature range setting alerts you to adjust the climate when needed. The digital display is easy to read.

The model SCD530/00 costs about $190. It features a humidity sensor to maintain a comfortable climate. The adjustable temperature sensor monitors the baby's room. Other features include automatic channel selection, out of range warning and low battery indication.
