Plastic Play Yards

There are basically two types of play yards: plastic play yards and wooden play yards.
Plastic playpens are portable and easy to use. A play yard or playpen is a good place to put the baby, if the parent needs some time for housework or meal preparation. Price is about $70-140.

The Graco Family Tree play yard costs about $140. It is portable and great for traveling. It has mesh sides and can be set up in less than a minute with the push button fold. A full size bassinet with a mattress pad and a comfortable bumper is included. Other features are a music playing mobile with detachable toys and a parent organizer that can hold two cups and diaper changing supplies.

The Graco Baby Einstein model costs about $100. It has these features:
1. Toy gym with toys that can be fastened to the frame or play mat.
2. A full size removable bassinet.
3. Push button folding and set up.
4. Two wheels for mobility and a handy carry bag.
5. A bassinet that can be used for children, who weigh less than 15 lbs.
