Good Quality
Toy Wooden Tracks

Toy wooden tracks usually don't fit snugly together. This is done, so that the tracks will couple together in all conditions. Wood may expand or contract depending on the temperature and humidity.

Tracks come apart, especially on soft surfaces such as carpet. They are easier to set up on hard surfaces, like a wooden floor, tiled floor or on a play table.

Wooden play tables are about 20 inches high, 4 ft long and 3 ft wide. Some have drawers under the table top to store the train set pieces.

When choosing wooden tracks or other wooden toys, look for:
1. Good quality, non toxic paint and stain
2. All surfaces should be sanded smooth for safety
