Select from various
Types of Nursing Bras

There are several types of nursing bras available in various styles:
1. Types with underwire usually provide good support. Some women might not be comfortable with underwire bras. They are also not comfortable to wear at night.
2. Types with no underwire are preferred by many women. They might not provide enough support for large breasts.
3. Many bras have flaps that can be detached for nursing. These flaps make nursing easier, especially in public places.
4. Price range is about $15-50.

Look for the following features:

  • Flaps should be easy to open, preferably with one hand.
  • A good fitting bra should cover the whole breast. It should fit good at the bottom. The bottom should have a wide band, which should be soft and comfortable.
  • Bras should be easy to unhook and the shoulder straps should be adjustable.
  • Material for the cups should be breathable.
